Bike Mechanic & Warehouse Coordinator

Girona, Spain - Full Time

Trek Travel provides global cycling, hiking, and walking vacations of a lifetime with the goal of helping more people actively explore and experience the world and partners with TRL to run operations in Europe. TRL is looking to add a hands-on Bike Mechanic & Warehouse Coordinator to our team based in Girona, Spain.

This role will primarily be responsible for providing awesome support to our European operations. The right candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess a thorough understanding of bike mechanics, strong customer service skills, and a passion for hospitality. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Daily coordination of operations with the European Logistics Manager. 
  • Maintenance of company bike fleet and remote mechanical assistance for field issues to deliver awesome bikes for our guests
  • Loading and unloading bikes and equipment from vans and trailers 
  • Receiving, inventorying, and maintaining equipment. 
  • Boxing and shipping of bikes and equipment 
  • Support day-to-day organization of the Girona warehouse, uphold and exceed the standards set for organization and stocking, and own the space. 
  • Tracking and Reporting – as needed in MS Excel, Word, PowerBI and NetSuite. 
  • Other projects as assigned. 

YOU HAVE:  

  • 2+ years of bike mechanics; understanding of Shimano Di2, Hydraulic Road braking systems and SRAM necessary. Experience with rental bike fleets preferred 
  • Valid EU Category B driver’s license required; BE (trailer) license preferred 
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Spain (EU citizenship or valid work permit) 
  • Passport for occasional international travel (including the US), as needed 
  • Ability to lift and move bikes and equipment and perform physical warehouse tasks daily 
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) – English required, understanding of Spanish and/or Catalan helpful 
  • Availability to work a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, aligned with warehouse operations, with occasional weekend or evening support during peak periods.

At Trek Travel and TRL, we think outside the box, continuously improve, encourage feedback, and ‘give it all we got, all the time, no exceptions. This is a full-time position based in our warehouse in Girona, Spain, and reports to the European Logistics Operations Manager. The annual salary range for this position is €24,000–26,000 gross, depending on experience. Interest in the active travel industry is beneficial, but not necessary.
